Top 10 Signs of a Scrapbook Addict
You're the only one at a social gathering yelling, "Just one more photo, folks; I don't have enough for a two-page spread!
A regular sandwich is no longer acceptable--it must be cropped or cut with decorative edges.
You try to claim your album purchases as a medical expense because it's such good "therapy".
You buy a new pink swimsuit because it matches the pink photo mounting paper.
Your child is the only one in agriculture class who thinks "crop" is to "cut your photos."
You decide to give your child piano lessons so you'll be able to use the musical instrument stickers that are in the Big Pack.
You redecorate your family room to coordinate with your photo album covers.
Your three year old wants to know if her coloring book is "archival quality".
Your mother notices the cat hair on your couch, you counter with, "that isn't cat hair, it is a creative use of fiber"
You're in a fender bender and your first thought is, "I wonder what die-cut shape will coordinate with this event?"
Your three-year-old wants to know if her coloring book is "archival quality."
Scraps from your corner rounder cuttings can be found in unusual places: school lunch bags, briefcases, the laundry, the dog's water bowl.
Of course a scrapbook addict doesn't follow a 12 step program but a 12 x 12 step one.

Re: Swap Guidelines and NEWSLETTERS
November 2011 Newsletter
Wow - November already! Time sure seems to go faster and faster the
older we get. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? How about Christmas?
New Years? The Superbowl? ROFL
Christmas shopping has begun
much more diligently than a few months ago. Over at
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I am so excited about a few of the swaps that
are closing that will become Christmas gifts - calendars, word books,
and the Christmas gift swap.
The Christmas is coming swap is a
new type for our site. Rather than a partner swap, it was one where we
created gifts and ornaments that the group can use to give out as a
simple thank you to all those people who help us each day. Postal
workers, teachers, bus drivers, neighbors, scout leaders, custodians,
etc.. It has been really fun and challenging to create these items.
Contests
Bring a new member and win postage!!!
This contest is still going on through the end of the year. Imagine -
all you need to do is have a new member join, both of you complete a
swap and viola! you are in the drawing for a large postage gift!!! Who
can't use postage these days?
Stash Reduction continues through the end of the year. It doesn't mean don't buy, just use the old stuff first!
A Year of Challenges
enters it's second month. I am a bit behind posting prize pics (the
whole no camera thing really gets you down sometimes - I now realize how
fast my camera phone fills with pics!), but they are coming. This
contest offers a prize drawing for each entry day (seven possible per
month) and then a grand prize to be drawn next October that will consist
of a year of techniques!!! Not only do you get the supplies, but
directions as well. October's contribution to the grand prize is
grungeboard. Imagine - getting a box with twelve envelopes - each one

Imagine - getting a box with twelve envelopes - each one
containing various techniques and the supplies to to try them out. All
it takes is one entry to win! This contest does require that you are an
