Are you working on anything fun?

Post by buster55904 on Sat Dec 26, 2009 2:34 pm

It's getting kind of boring and I'm ready to do some swaps. I can't believe it's been almost a month since I worked on a swap Shocked

It's kind of hard to just sit around, we're usually gone for part of the holidays and we're still here....lol I'm not sure where we could go, but we need to do something! We talked about going to WI Dells, but we really don't have time for that. The boys start a tennis tournament on Monday and it can last until Wednesday. Maybe we can stay at the hotel by the Mall of America, it has a nice water park. I think we just need to get out of the house for a while and do something fun.

Well - fun, sort of? Clearing my scrap table to put some new goodies away cheers cheers

Once the table is clear, I have some pictures I hope to get done and into albums!

You are all so lucky-I have to dig out our scrap/play room. For the month of December it has been the room where I 've just been throwing things to get them out of the way. Scrap table is buried!!!!! Guess that's what I;ll be doing tomorrow.

I need to clean my craft room too, it is a mess! Just like Cecily, I used my craft room to put all the extra things I didn't want out during Christmas. I also have all the prizes sorted out and waiting to be boxed up for shipping.

Melody, looks like you have a ton of swaps started, to bad you ran out of supplies! I didn't see your papers in my glitter bag.....LOL Hopefully it wont take you as long as it did for me to find my papers.

I'm hoping I'll be finished cleaning my craft room tonight and maybe tomorrow I'll be able to start making some swap items.

Re: Are you working on anything fun?

Post by Guest on Mon Dec 28, 2009 5:28 am

I'm finally going to get back to working on swaps today! The holidays get crazy and I was also piling stuff on my scrap table. Between shopping, baking, wrapping and trying to keep nosy kids out of the storage room I was only able to scrap a couple hours one night. I spent Friday evening getting all my Christmas cards out! Yep -- late, but still within the season! LOL They are New Year's cards now! A dear cousin of mine passed away this weekend, so was on the phone a lot with family. I feel bad that we can't get to the funeral as it's too far to go (far Northern Minnesota) and the weather is so bad there right now. My sister and I are going in on flowers. She lives in southern MN, but doesn't want to travel that far by herself.

Today the kids are going to DAY CARE banana where they will have fun making New Year's decorations, watching a movie, playing and getting rowdy! DH goes back to work today -- so PEACE and QUIET awaits me! (Shhh..........I'd better not jinx it!!) SOOOO, I plan to scrap allll day!!
I hope to get quite a lot done! cheers

I am sorry about your cousin. Being in MN, I know the roads are worse north of us than here (however, even our main roads still have snow on them).

I hope you have a wonderful, quiet day to do what you want Smile

Me - hockey practice, errands, maybe some scrap time praying and hopefully mailing all the Christmas cards I found silly silly (now to find the stamps I know I purchased)

Tracy, sorry to hear your cousin has passed. I live further south then Lucinda and some of our roads are still bad.

Scrapping sounds like a great idea, but not going to bed until 3am then waking up at 7am........well, needless to say I'm sleepy! I think I feel a nap coming in the near future Sleep

We went to the mall today and there were lots of great deals, but DH was with me so I didn't say and look like I wanted to.

home from errands - swapped a day of hockey driving with another mom, so I could run opposite direction. Errands are never the same direction as hockey Sad

Well - scrap time is coming - just a few things to get done around here first - dd made cornbread to go with ham and beans - yum - think lunch will be first Smile
