Kids school work

Post by Scraprageous on Tue Dec 29, 2009 12:26 pm

do you have sample pages you would be willing to share? I have some old pictures I am trying to figure out if I should use the original artwork (can fit into a sleeve), or should I just do a photo of the artwork (definitely with large stuff). I only have a few from each kid (and found one or two from dh and myself!!), so keeping isn't a big deal - neither is pitching.

I've done both. Will have to see if I can upload some pics later. Here's a link to some on two peas [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I scan the kids work that I want to keep. I keep them in a folder on the computer (and back up) with their name. I save them as .jpg so that I can re-size them with Adobe. That way I can use them in layouts for backgrounds or put a lot on a page.

thanks for link - this one is my favorite (not sure how to post here)

I also like the idea of scanning first - that way I don't have all sorts of construction paper to deal with Smile

Yes, and if you've scanned it, you won't feel guilty about throwing the items away! fufufu

too true. My mom recently gave me a box of my grade school stuff - I think I kept 3 things - threw out the other two full boxes of stuff Embarassed Embarassed I bet my kids will feel similar and so the scanning thing may be my best bet for now
