Just learned something new

Post by Scraprageous on Sun Jan 03, 2010 5:10 pm

Never open a frozen can of pop near scrap items!! Glad I stayed in kitchen rather than opening by my table as planned Smile

Nothing was near, but we had some pop freeze in the garage - one exploded, so brought everything in to thaw Smile

Well - I decided to let the kids have pop slushies. The first two cans cut open just fine and I got them into the cups. Well - then we come to mine Smile Do you know what happens when you cut open a fully frozen can of pop????

It explodes!!! lol! lol! lol! We all just started laughing. Then cleaning. Dd was in dining room off kitchen, and got hit in the head with frozen pop. My kitchen ceiling was blasted, along with all appliances, the floor, me (hair, up my sleeve, shirt, shoes, etc). My pop is really frozen - 1/2 hour later, most of it still is an ice cube. lol! lol! lol!

Wow, what a mess!

We have popcorn ceilings and something splattered on it! I tried to clean it off, but it just made it look worse Rolling Eyes
