Melody's recipe swap(((Help)))

Post by buster55904 on Wed Jan 06, 2010 11:49 pm

I am really having a hard time fitting my recipes onto a 4.5" x 3.5" card and there's absolutely no room for matting.............am I doing something wrong? I have my font size at 8, so I can't go any smaller. My recipe size right now is at 3.25" x 5" with no mat.

How are you all doing your recipes?

Have you thought of putting it on two cards attached together with a brad? Karen M

Good idea with the brad.

I need to redo mine Embarassed had them at 3x5 - back to the drawing board No Glad you posted this, but sorry you are having trouble. (however, I have a few really, really simple recipes, so they fit)

Maybe leave at a 10 point font, but decrease line spacing to .9 or .95 - that sometimes helps. Lets you keep larger type in smaller space

Ok, I think I have an idea!

Mat size is 4.5" x 3.5" and embellish. Then I could have my recipe folded like an accordion and then you can pull it open when you use it. Do you think that will work or would it be to bulky?
