Whoo Hoo - Saturday!!!

Post by Scraprageous on Sat Mar 13, 2010 8:06 am

anything fun? Some of my kids are volunteering at Cub Scout Wolf Howl today with dh, another is delegate for Republican Party (ok - not trying to start anything here - just proud of my now 19 year old). Been answering calls for him all week regarding who he is voting for (I have a pat answer - I don't know, you will have to talk to him, however, I am more than happy to take a message) Smile He is an alternate at state level - he has political interests, so I am proud of his efforts - I haven't been to any of the events so far, but it sounds like he is having fun and learning a ton about how various individuals are elected.

Another is at an Order of the Arrow weekend (Boy Scouts), so that means I am on my own Shocked Shocked Shocked for at least the next 6 hours!!!

Guess I better get off the computer, get the shopping I need completed and then I can scrap some stuff!! (or read, un-interrupted, or whatever I want cheers cheers confused confused confused wow - the choices Smile)

Sounds like there's a lot going on, fun times!

I took the oldest to get his hair cut at 8:45 am! Too early, but that's all they had available and he needed his hair to be done. Tyler heads out to New York on Tuesday, returns on Saturday then he leaves for Florida the following week! It must be nice! I sat and drank a cup of coffee and did a Sudoku puzzle while he got his hair cut.

Well it looks like dh is coming home to pick me up for painting(volunteered for senior party prep.) Got to go, but I'll try to post more later.

DS had a soccer game at 9 . Niece has a birthday at 2. Might have some people over to watch boxing tonight. Hope to get some scrapping in too. And there is always something to clean lol. There's always tomorrow!

Raining here, too earlier this morning. Went to the Scouts Pinewood Derby today. GS and I worked all week on his car. He called it "The Awesome-mobile"! LOL He did well, got 2nd place in all the heats, but didn't get to the final. He was happy, though -- one of his friends in the Tigers will be going to District with his car. GD entered a car in the Open Division and placed 2nd in all the heats, too but didn't make the final. Copycat! LOL They also had fun eating donuts and now they have sugar rushes! We're at home for a couple of hours and then they are off to a birthday party, and then to a family get-together. Whew! I might skip the get-together and stay home, not sure yet. Someone else can bring the kids home later!

Don't forget to change your clocks tonight!!

Just sitting down at the scrap table. Got up at 9:30 am to pack swaps for Helen. Went to the PO. Cleaned up after some major swap making. Need to finish some swaps to mail Lucinda. Catching up on my TIVO. Glad Spring Break has started.
