Selling your Cricut projects

Post by buster55904 on Tue 11 May - 22:14

Great news from Cricut! They're allowing us to sell up to 10,000 projects annually! That is great news, because before I heard we were not allowed to sale anything, unless you sold at a craft fairs. Whether or not that was true, I do not know for sure but I'm just glad they're now letting us!

Maybe they decided it wasn't worth the effort to enforce their "no selling" rule on all the numerous sellers of ebay and etsy who sell Cricut-made items, and have since Cricut first came out. Too much time, money and effort to chase 'em down, I think!

Or - they realize they are selling tools, not final product Smile and if they are going to try to prevent it they will loose business. Or maybe they talked to their attorneys and realized they can say what they want, but it cannot be enforced.

Kind of like a stamp company saying you can't sell anything made with their image. Once you purchase - you have the right to use in any way you want. You are selling your work, not their stuff Smile
