I'm not sure if I can stop the oven??? Will the turkey dry out, if I do stop the oven? I was thinking of turning the temp down, but I'm not sure about that either....lol!

Any tips?

If its almost done, turn the oven off but leave bird in. Don't forget to let it rest before slicing-I've been reading up in all the mags!

chili dogs!!! (leftover chili from last night, hot dogs and pbj if you don't like the above). I can't let them see Helen's dinner or they will all head there LOL

Great idea for a RAK! We had a hurry up dinner as we have to run to a Scout event. It was chicken nuggets, green beans and fruit cups!! Now we're off to the event!!

The sesame chicken was awesome!!!!
Everybody said the recipe was a keeper-that rarely happens!!!!
sesame chicken with sauce, rice and broccoli-it makes me very happy when everyone likes dinner!

Up from my nap! Off to cook the beans and rice.

It sounds like a lot of yummy food out there! Our dinner was really good and after I ate I took a nap, just like Thanksgiving day....lol! Oh man I needed that nap! I stayed up until 4AM and back up at 7AM!!!

I slept way longer than I thought I would and I even slept through DH's phone call from the grocery store to find out if I wanted anything.

nap sounds great. sounds like 11 pm in this area is best time to watch - will head out then

What's with all the snow? Do you all usually get snow this early?

Sometimes we even get it earlier! Most snow falls early in the year doesn't stay on the ground that long.

I'm just glad I don't live on the East Cost....lol! There were some pretty bad storms last year!

There's been some bad storms out here this week - wind and rain though. A tornado touched down near Baltimore yesterday. Hundreds of people (not us) are out of power b/c of downed power lines.

Oh wow, that's awful! I really need to start watching the news again! With me staying up so late, and sleeping in most morning, I just haven't been watching the the news!
