Quick little Layout Challenge
It sounds like quite a few of us have been getting snow, so how about a Layout Challenge to include.
1) snow flake or snow-man of some type
2) at least one photo
3) either the color blue or purple.
Note: if you don't have snow pics - that is ok - any photo works, just some snowy types of embellishments.
Due date: January 15, 2011!!
anyone who enters will be put into a drawing for some Cricut cuts of snowflakes and snowmen.

Re: Quick little Layout Challenge
Here is mine - I didn't make the snowman frame - he is from a swap on this board - sorry, but I don't know who created him. He is really cute and I have to get a re-sized photo before I can put the lower picture in place.
Basic and simple, but I like the wintery pictures.

Re: Quick little Layout Challenge
Thanks - I have only been scrapbooking for about 5 years so I have ALOT of photos from when my girls were little. Every now and then I pull some out of a box and do a layout. They are now 18 & 20.

I'm the same way! I'm scrapping pictures of my kids when they were younger too, they're now 18 & 16.

Re: Quick little Layout Challenge
Hmm - well I won't say I have the oldest child on the board, my oldest is 19 and I still have baby pics to do LOL - that said, I am definitely NOT a chronological scrapper. (I also won't mention I started scrap-booking before oldest was born and some of the original stuff has to be changed
)
I think you are doing a great job! This is a hobby for having fun and trying new things - even if I don't get everything done, I do enjoy working the process as much as the result.

Re: Quick little Layout Challenge
The paper I'm thinking about using is brown, cream and blue. My question is, as long as I use some blue, is it alright to use other colors too?

Yep - everyone wins since it took me so long to remember to do this. Anyway - I will ship out some snowflakes and snowmen later this week
