Rearranging!!!

Post by buster55904 on Thu Jan 06, 2011 12:24 pm

Rearranging!!!

After creating items for all the challenges we have, I realized that my scrap space is not doable! Yesterday it took me 10 minutes to find my embossing folders and another few minutes to find my archivers bag(my goodies were still in the bag) and then later I couldn't find my stamp cleaner! And all the other days I created things, I spent lots of minutes searching for items too! Well I had enough, so I'm rearranging my things again! I sure hope it works out this time, because once you get going on a project it sure does suck to have to stop and search for something! Oh and dh might be a little upset with me when he gets home, because I moved a lot of my items back into my old scrap room, which is now an exercise/my computer room affraid I'll probable hear him say, I told you so!!! Evil or Very Mad When I switched rooms a couple of months ago, he kept on saying my "things" wont fit in the new room Embarassed Rolling Eyes

All done, but organizing will still need to be done.

Lol! I can so relate to needing to rearrange. I did recently rearrange & "organize" now I cannot find my dcwv Mariposa photo mat paper that I was saving for a swap. I know I put it somewhere so I would know where it was but I can't remember where that is for the life of me lol

It's amazing what happens when you reorganize!! Sometimes i think it's almost worse!! Wink I am STILL working on my new space, same room, different location but lots of new shelving, YAY. I've been at it for WEEKS. I was having the same problem searching and searching for things and mostly never finding them. It kinda takes the fun out of scrapping!

Sad I know what you mean. I have done that before. I seem to figure out one or two things I like - not changing them, but have to finish putting things somewhere???? It really stinks when you can't find things you know you have and knew where they were (I still can't find my pearl accent things - I know where they were last month)

It sure does take the fun out of it!

I use to put names on my containers, so I think I'm going to have to do that again. This week I plan on organizing some of my supplies, so maybe while I'm doing that I'll add labels too.

That looks terrific. I like the idea of taking a power nap and then scrapping some more without even leaving the room.
