RAK for Gypsy Owners
I visited a Michaels' on Friday that had "Technology" grab bags. I love grab bags so I wandered over. To my surprise each bag had a Gypsy Starter Kit (silcone cover, screen cover, stylus, and lanyard) and an extra wall charger. However, the most exciting thing was the price...$2!!!! So I bought the four that were left. One for me, one for my cousin's birthday, and two to share with you.
So do you want one?
Here's what you have to do...design a page on your Gypsy. Take a picture of the screen and then post your finished page. It doesn't even have to be a page. It can be a card or a project. Just use your Gypsy.
Please post by noon on Sunday (February 6th). I will draw 2 names out of those that post, and they will receive a Gypsy grab bag.

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
just show us what you plan to cut for your page. It could be a title or circles or whatever.

2/02/11 I planned this page for a contest I entered, but I went with another page layout.

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
I would be a taker but I am not quite sure how
lol. Do I use the layers of mats that appear when I open the program??? Will play around & get back to you.....
Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
I think I've only used the layers once and that option is great if you want to cut your items out. I didn't use the layers for the one I posted here, but you can.

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
Ok lol I don't think I am understanding how to do this. How do you do it without layers, so confused.....
Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
Look at my finished screen on my Gypsy, see how I have my pieces fitting inside the 12x12 mat? All I did was add my image and their layers on top of each other and made sure I positioned everything where it needed to be at. If I were to cut my images, I would delete the images I didn't need right away and then add them again when I was ready to cut those images.
It is easier to cut images by using the layer tab at the top left of the Gypsy screen rather then to do what I do. Do you know how to us the "Layer 1" tabs at the top left of the Gypsy screen? If so that would be the easiest way to cut multiple layers.

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
OK here is my simple attempt. I tried a more elaborate version but everything kept grouping together & moving off the screen, it was a mess lol!

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
Lol thanks any idea why everything kept joining together & how to stop that?
Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
Joining together as image touching each other or the images joining together as a group?

Re: RAK for Gypsy Owners
Ok, if you still have your images highlighted when you go to grab another image(from the library) it connects them as a group automatically. The reason for that is to make sure all you're images are the same size.....that's great if you have layers you want to use.
If you don't need them to be the same size, then make sure your image on your mat isn't highlighted, before grabbing another image from the library. You can touch your mat with your stylist to make sure you're not highlighting any of the images before leaving to grab another image.
