Cricut Imagine
After researching the eCraft machine I decided not to purchase it. I think if I did more designing(on the computer), then that machine would be for me. I can't see spending that kind of money and not using the machine to it's fullest potential. It does sound like a fantastic machine and maybe one of these days I'll get it, but not now.
I did end up purchasing the Cricut Imagine Machine form cricut.com!!! For being a circle member I got an extra 20% off and I had a 25.00 credit that I used, so the Imagine was a great buy. What sold me on this machine was a project someone did on the Cricut Circle group. I wish I could post the picture that she did, because it was so gorgeous! Here's hoping I'll do some amazing projects with that machine too!

Congrats and have fun - can't wait to see what you do. I am still not 100% clear on what the imagine does/is for - but it prints color and then cuts - doesn't it?

Yep!
I wasn't even that into the Imagine machine, but after seeing lots of posted projects I started liking the idea of printing and cutting

Re: Cricut Imagine
I wish I could, but I'm not allowed
BUT, let me see if she has a blog and if she posted it on there.
What she made wasn't outrageous looking like some page, that looks like it's taken then a year to make! The page she made was something I could make(copy), but maybe not as pretty as hers
Her work is very beautiful!

I'm never going to finish my first two LOAD pages!!! Look what came in the mail!!! The box is huge and very heavy, it's larger then I thought it was going to be! I'll open my new machine after I complete my first two pages, but I'm so excited!!!

Re: Cricut Imagine
Saw one in the store the other day - they are a lot bigger than a cricut
I wondered - can they print standard pages as well

LOL!
It's still sitting there! I figured it had to warm up to room temp. so I just left it there.....anyways, my craft room is a huge mess, because I've been working on the LOAD challenge! I'm still hoping to get the last page done tonight, clean up and set the machine up tomorrow.

I finished cleaning and I'm now setting up my machine. Oh man, the mat is so stinky, it smells worse then the Tim H. grungboard pieces!!

Re: Cricut Imagine
I'm not sure if it was worth the upgrade, yet! I do like what I printed and cut, but that's all I've had time for. Maybe later this evening I'll have time to mess with my machine again

I was finally able to put it together as a card, so here's my first project using my Imagine machine:
