RAK for everyone!
Now I know everyone most likely has a pile that looks just like this. And your saying to yourself why in the world do I NEED more scraps!!!!
Ah - but you don't have THESE scraps. Who knows - there could be something in here that will complete that next swap you do. Alot of these are the perfect size for card making.
This is simple - just post to let me know you want some (PM me your address)- and I'll send it out!
I will leave this open for a week - whoever posts by then, I will divide up the stash - and mail out.
Hey does this count as using up my stash for April???????
hahaha

Reminds me of an old swap we did on the old CK board - it was successful. Can't remember if we tried it here. Give me a bit and I will post.
Don't get ride of all of it just yet

You all are in - thanks
Helen PM me your address
Lucinda sounds like fun - trust me I don't need to save any - this is only 1 draw out of 2
I have trouble throwing anything away.

LOL! You're not the only one who can't throw things away!
I just cleaned out two dresser draws and one had clothes in it that were size 12! It's been years since I was that size! The other three draws in that dresser are filled with scrapping goodies....lol!

Re: RAK for everyone!
I have been cleaning and purging. Even a good friend looked around and commented, 'you really have been getting rid of stuff'.
Helps that kids are growing up and more toys and young books go all the time.
Scrap area though -
no one touches it and therefore, it tends to get overrun. Kids/Dh have this rule - if we don't know what to do with it, put it in mom's scrap area and she will figure it out!!! :laule: I did finally get rid of the broken toy dragon, GI Joe, a china something or other, and a toy motorcycle. All of which needed repairs more extensive than a glue dot or white glue ROFL :

Re: RAK for everyone!
You all make me smile. I've been purging in my classroom. I found a research paper from 1987 from a guy who now teaches at our local jr. college. I was not teaching yet, of course. I was still in high school (and not where I now teach).
By the way, anyone need manilla folders? I have two crates full. They have been written on once but that's it. PM your address and how many and I will get them sent.

Re: RAK for everyone!
Mine came today in an envelope from the post office stating they are sorry that they mangled (my word) my envelope and that they are trying hard to improve their system. Still seems intact though some may have fallen out through the bite marks
Thanks Jeri! I will put them to good use. HHMMM wonder if I could use them on our sister challenge!

Re: RAK for everyone!
Finally!!!! I had some time tonight to make a page using some of the scraps you sent me
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I used a negative space(sun) from another layout, punched a 2" circle out of left over paper, scallop deco starfish is from a swap, surf boards are from a swap and the word fun is leftover from a swap.
RAK Scraps:
- punched a 1 3/4" circle for the brown and blue part of the sun.
- the shells are made of three different pattern papers.
- blue border, left as it was.
- white scallop border, left as it was.

Here's one more
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I had a 8x8 make and take just sitting around for years and thought I would use it with the scraps I received. The 8x8 make and take was sprayed with Angel Mist, had the scalloped decorated circle and a plan white photo mat on it.
RAK Scraps:
- I used circle punches and punched out some cicles using the pink and purple papers.
- paper around the photo were only cut down to length.

Re: RAK for everyone!
Now if only I could remember which layouts had your scraps
I didn't get many kits completed for the crop (about 1/8th of usual), but I did put some into layout packs and used them. Maybe as I put them into albums I will remember.
You were right - the colors were perfect for a few different layout accents!
