SMASH Swap Anyone?

Is anyone interested in hostessing a SMASH Swap?

Off the top of my head I was thinking there would be two groups.

Group 1: Everyone picks an item in the SMASH set (note pads, pockets (2 types), tabs, stickies, bands etc) and send in enough so that everyone in the groups get a little of each item.

Group 2: Everyone creates a handmade embellishment (or two) that could be used on a page in someone's SMASH book.

Anyone interested in participating or hostessing? BTW, I love swaps (have been swapping since 2002) and have never hostessed. Don't intend to ruin my record now! With puppy dog eyes, could someone hostess, please?

Just a thought-
What if you made it just one group
The hostess would pick a site to order from
Everyone would say the item they want to purchase for all
The hostess would place order and divide the cost of shipping among the swappers and divide the packages
Then when you send iin your handmade embellishment you would also include the money owed.
Just thought it would be better than everyone having to order on line and pay shipping each. (I have not seen in stores anywhere)

I will post this soon. My only worry with setting it up so that everyone has one person buying is that most sites don't have ll items in stock of this at once which would mean I would probably end up ordering from multiple sites myself. Will think about it and post asap. Teaching summer school this week but should have time to line it all up and post. Any ideas about due date??

Darshell it was just an idea, no worries if it does not work out that way. It still will be a great swap!

Can we do late August or early September? Of course, if you have kids going back to school, that's probably not ideal. I'm flexible. As long as the deadline is after end of August, I'm good to go. That way people can find the item they want to provide. I do have someone on Ebay where I bought my stuff. She's easy to work with, so I'll check to see if she is expecting more items in and when.
