Happy Saturday!!

Our low for today occured at midnight, so it will be hot and steamy. Good day to hang out inside with a/c, I do believe (mid 90's but with the high humidity, 110-115 heat index stuff).

Before moving here, I thought this area would be cooler than the rest of the midwest But when parents were dealing with 102, we were at 69, last week. Guess it is just our turn.

Oh well, maybe a bit of shopping and then finish up a swap or two.

back from a quick shopping trip with Dh!! short and sweet - just like I like on Saturday's.

I did find, on clearance at the farm store, those solar lights. They are lamb and rooster shaped, so I can't wait to try them out. Anyone else have those things? They look really cute, so here is hoping they light up tonight! (it is hot bright and sunny)

Getting ready to be out of town for a week. Teaching in Tulsa--my last gig of the summer! Whoo-hoo!

Need to get myself and youngest dd packed. She'll go to grandmama's.

Then I think I will scrapbook.

I haven't been on the CC board for about 2-3 weeks and just logged on yesterday. I started a project for the CC weekly challenge that I need to finish, then maybe I can think about what I'm going to make for the monthly challenge.

I don't plan on doing anything outside, it's just to hot out there!!!

Yea-got some scrapping done this weekend. I did a couple challenges-the photo background and the old school. I put together my grunge board album from the swap. Added front and back covers-does that count as use your stash? I'll have to get some pictures posted.

sure - it counts. Remember - swaps can always be used - they are like adhesive - always up for grabs

I did get to scrap. Then I cleaned up. I figured since I would be gone for the week that I would stash my stuff and let dh remember what that corner of the living room looked like before my scrap stuff took over. I brought a lot up here with me since I drove to this conference. Other than the trip in from the car, I have yet to touch it. I also pass a Michael's as I pull into my hotel and I keep stopping and buying stuff. I think I will have time to scrap later if I am not too tired and I get off the computer.

At least, with all the shopping, you know you will have plenty with you (just in case your stash runs shy LOL)
