The subject of Great(?) Debate
Coffee or Tea?
Just curious
Flavored, plain, regular, whatever.
Some insist that coffee is the best in the morning, others that tea really rocks.
Me - I prefer morning coffee, afternoon flavored coffee, night time tea
What about you? I have been told I have things backwards

Re: The subject of Great(?) Debate
I love coffee-definitely in the AM. every once in a while, I'll get a flavored thing at Starbucks.
But we are definitely little tea pots here. Morning, afternoon, evening. Caffinated and decaf. Black, green, white, flavored, fruit. Straight up , with lemon, or with milk and sugar. In a mug, china teacup, travel mug, by the pot. Hot, iced.
And the best of all-tea parties and high teas! At home and at tea shops. Did I mention that I collect tea pots.

awww - is that in your yard? I didn't know you collected teapots - see how fun this can be
I have about 3 teapots. Not really a collection, they each mean something particular to me. They rarely get used as my stove top ones are so convenient.

Coffee in the morning, and if I have a hot drink any other time during the day it's tea ... tea too early in the morning makes me feel pregnant

Coffee, coffee, coffee! I love most coffee's, but keep the Hazel Nut away from me....yuck! Also I have cut way down on the designer drinks, I use to have them one or two times a day, but now I might have one once a month! My all time favorite now is Kwik Trip coffee, cinnamon with French vanilla creamer
Re: The subject of Great(?) Debate
I know what you mean about the fancy coffees. They are fun, but more for going out with friends rather than daily. We started keeping flavored coffee that dd and I enjoy (when she is around). I also keep all her flavored creamers in the fridge for afternoon mom/daughter coffee.
However, the flavored ones are great to make at home when the snow and wind are blowing and the fireplace is going strong

Re: The subject of Great(?) Debate
Wow - sounds like I am the minority here - coffee everyday - tea is not so often.
Ok - so, what tea's are good. I know I enjoy the English breakfast (at least that one is kept on hand - will have to try with honey). We also have peppermint.
Any other recommendations? Cold tea in the summer, but hot tea - just curious - thanks!
(and no, it is not the pregnancy reason - possibly doing a women's tea and have no clue as the two of us are coffee drinkers)

Re: The subject of Great(?) Debate
I drink hot tea year round. English breakfast is one of my faves. Also like Earl Grey. Mostly though I just do the regular Lipton. We did a tea at a church womens retreat once and it was so much fun as everyone knew about it a couple of months in advance and really got into it. Almost everyone wore vintage hats (from thrift store, yard sales and ebay)!
