For the first time in 6 or 7 years

I am not making our Christmas cards. I usually make between 50-60 cards, all hand made- nothing on the computer (as if I could!) When I told my daughter, I am sure I could have heard her gasp even if we weren't on the phone. You would have thought I told her we were getting a divorce!

For the first time we are doing photo cards. We went to a studio this week and had our photos taken. Yep, first time for us- even at our wedding we had family do our pictures. I had no intention of them being for cards, didn't even do a Christmas background. Just wanted to have a photo of us. When they were showing our package the lady asked if we wanted Christmas cards and I started to say no and hubby says"you better do it while you can because its hard to say when you will ever get me back here" How can you argue with that? We did have fun though. Those on our list will be rather surprised because they will not be expecting photos. P.S. Jeri- don't tell Mom!

Sounds like a wonderful idea. Especially if you haven't sent pics out in a while

We have been married 10 years and have not done photos- so yeah I think that constitutes awhile!

Extra time- No, my MIL makes sure that I do not have any of that!
