Any new creations? Ideas? etc?

Post by Scraprageous on Mon Dec 26, 2011 4:16 pm

I just finished cleaning my scrap table. Two of my recent acquisitions include an old dental tool dresser type stand and one of those large plastic things like you see in classrooms. Designed to hold about 20"x20" items. Mine now has papers sorted in the lower half by color (scraps) and in the upper half by the themes I use most. Weird for some people, but ones that work for me. (some are paper lines, some are themes of paper, etc..)

Anyway - I have been working putting stuff away and now that I have my camera and more pics to print - I can't wait to scrap!!! I re-sorted through a bunch of really cute swaps (that are now noted for some particular pages) and realized I am about out of adhesive affraid affraid affraid lol!

The 'new' cabinets have been fun - I have gotten rid of some albatross like holders and now seem to have more space. The dental cabinet is old, made from cherry (I think) and has those clear glass knobs on all the drawers. 2 dozen drawers on top, 4 in the middle, cabinets with hooks on the sides (all behind doors), and then two large compartments on the lower section with a middle section that holds my big bite and bind it all perfectly!

I just was scanning through an old Scrapbooks, etc.. and read about using old pieces to make borders and such. I think that sounds fun and hope to try that this week!

Anyone have new toys to play with or pieces to help them organize?

I got some gift certificates to M's and HL for Christmas ... don't know what I want yet ... I desperately need some organization ... I had to move all my scrapping supplies out of the dining room and living room for Christmas dinner, so my spare bedroom is ... scary ... yea that's the word Smile

That dental dresser sounds wonderful!

There is some irony in your post that was not lost on me. Know what it is?

sorry - you completely lost me there scratch scratch scratch

thought maybe I spelled borders as boarders (pretty common for me - thought old people stuck to pages would have been funny)

Hmm - I will look again after coffee [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
