Wednesday Fun

Post by Scraprageous on Wed Jan 18, 2012 5:48 am

I hope Smile

working on the mini albums - anyone used the cartridge Word Collage?

It is really fun - I borrowed it from Dscraps (THANKS!!!!) and planned to use the sports one for a page, but then started thinking (oh no - we all know this could blow up in my face tongue tongue tongue )

What if I create my own words from various fonts, using the gypsy to create a custom one that is hockey specific? Don't get me wrong - I totally love this cartridge, but it would be nice to have the hockey one with things like slap shot, goal, blue line, penalty box, etc.. Any font suggestions?

Other fun things. I have several hours with no kids around today!!! Yes, I have to get the shopping done, but I hope to play around with my cricut for a while. I have the materials (found them yesterday) for some signs in my kitchen using the Word Collage cartridge and on my wall of photos. Just need to cut the paper and create the piecing to use as an accent now Smile.

Maybe if time, I can even put together some more page kits this weekend. Snapfish had their 99 cent special going on, so I uploaded photos yesterday. They finished them last night and they ship this am Shocked Shocked. I sure wasn't thinking they would be that fast! Code is 99Prints if you need it, but I think once you order from them, they keep you on the mailing list for quite some time.

Well - What is on task for your day? Any font suggestions for creating a custom word collage?

Have a wonderful Day!! cat alien cat alien pig [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] rendeer [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I have the word collage cartridge but haven't been brave enough to use it yet. Would love to see pics of what you've done with it.

Will work all day today, of course. Tonight dd has tumbling so that means no scrap time.

Enjoy your day!

Sorry, I do not know anything about fonts (big surprise right!) but look forward to see what you come up with.

My goal today is to do the scrappy challenge that is due.

I think there's 1-3 cartridges that has hokey on it? You can goal off the soccer cartridge or maybe even off the All Sports.

For the Font maybe Keystone or Varsity?

Keystone is a great idea - I forgot about that one.

I don't own varsity, but think that mixing with a cursive font would be fun. I am adding words with one or two images from the sports mania cartridge.
